It has been months since I posted for I was so busy and forgot even my password. Now for the latest news for Pokemon:
In the interest of maintaining a healthy tournament environment, Pokémon Organized Play removes older sets from the Modified format at the beginning of each new tournament season. Each rotation challenges existing players to create new strategies while allowing new players to get into organized play with a minimum investment. Bonds to the End of Time is the second TCG set based off Pokemon Platinum and will be released on December 26th in Japan. The set is themed after the Pokemon owned by the Gym Leaders and Elite Four of Sinnoh, though it contains regular Pokemon cards as well. It is the new "Gym Leader" set, essentially.
General Set Information
* This set will be released in Japan on December 26th. * It will probably be America's May set. * It is the second set based off Pokemon Platinum. * There are 90 cards total, in addition to eight basic Energy. * The two theme decks feature Gallade and Infernape from the Elite Four, and contain 24 unique, non-reprinted cards. * All Pokemon with a Trainer on their card (Gym Leader, Elite Four, and Team Galactic-owned Pokemon) are Pokemon-SP, which makes them Basic Pokemon. Thus, "owned" Pokemon in this set, like Mamoswine GL, are Basic Pokemon and do not evolve from normal pre-evolution cards. * Pokemon owned by Gym Leaders have "GL" at the end of the Pokemon's name, Elite Four Pokemon have "4" at the end, and Galactic Pokemon have "G," as they did in Galactic's Conquest.
Key Cards
* The main set features five Level X's: Floatzel GL LV.X, Luxray GL LV.X, Alazakam 4 LV.X, Hippowdon LV.X, and Flygon LV.X. * The theme decks contain two Level X's: Gallade 4 LV.X and Infernape 4 LV.X. * The promo blister pack for this set is packaged with Mismagius GL LV.X and Electrode G. * The three classic reprints in this set are: Pikachu (Base Set), Flying Pikachu (Black Star Promo #25), and Surfing Pikachu (Black Star Promo #28). Base Set Pikachu has new artwork, while the other two Pikachu have reprinted artwork. * No Shiny Pokemon are in this set, unlike the previous two sets. * Bebe's Search and a Supporter card from Skyridge, Underground Expedition, are reprinted in this set. Underground Expedition has new artwork, however. * Two new Special Energy appear - SP Energy (A "Delta Rainbow Energy" for Pokemon-SP) and Upper Energy. * Rotom's five Formes are featured in the set: Cut Rotom, Wash Rotom, Frost Rotom, Spin Rotom, and Heat Rotom.
Set Themes
* Each Elite Four member has their own Supporter card. * Volkner gets his own Supporter card as well as a Gym Stadium card. * Two more Team Galactic's Special Inventions are introduced - 107 and 109.
